How would you like to go on a custom tour of Germany and paint at the KPM and Meissen factories for 2 days each? We have designed a special tour for 15 days in June 2010 which also includes meeting some small porcelain manufacturers in Thuringia, boat ride on the Elbe, picnic with local porcelain painters and booster club, castle and museum tours in Berlin, Meissen, Dresden, Erfurt and Weimar and much more. Our guide is Ute Boese of Cultourinaria, who is from the Thuringia area of Germany, lived in Berlin and knows the "backroads" well. They can also provide trip extensions or alternative programs for accompanying spouses, etc who are not interested in the workshops.
If you are interested, please let me know I will send you the trip, application form, and travel information. The cost of the trip is $3,499.00 plus airfare, insurance, etc. Deposits are needed by December 18, 2009.

If you have never taken from them, they are worth every penny. We learn so much. I for one have changed my way of painting now and I find I paint so much better since I took from them. They are extremely patient and so humble. Even if you are a beginner he will bring you to paint pretty good, and he makes it easy with his technique and steps. I have had students that paint poorly and they turned out pretty nice pieces and left with a lot of knowledge. They practiced afterwards and improved immensely.
