Cheryl was a beautiful painter and a beautiful person also. I will always remember --each year she would paint an item with holly on it just for herself. Each was a special item to add to her personal collection. Cheryl was the corner stone/foundation for Santa Clara Artist. She was always there for us, but little did we know she was there first making sure, in her own little way, that everything was ready. She did so much in the back ground that we never knew who did it or even the fact that it had to be done. Our club meets at the Inman House, which is available for many different types of organizations. She would take her time and energy and clean the refrigerator, she took the curtains home and washed them and returned to hang them, who would ever have done this besides Cheryl. She had a heart of gold that was shared with everyone. Cheryl always was there doing the little things that would go unnoticed but provided our club a strong foundation. I am not sure what offices Cheryl held, but she was one very good treasurer. She was in the club long before I was, I understand she has held every office and has been honored artist. She worked to get the china painters involved in the art community in Santa Clara. I do not have enough words to tell you what a wonderful, sweet, artistic person Cheryl was. I will always remember her in many very special way.
My mom was a sweet, brave, and loving woman who fought Cancer with all that she had. We are going to miss her lots. My dad and I are looking forward to celebrating her life Saturday July 11 with all our friends and family. Hope to see you all soon.
