CAPA Honored Artist Diana Holdrege
A student of several well know local painters, Diana Holdrege has been painting for over 30 years. Under the tutelage of such artists as Annette Cogliandro and Virginia Otey, she has been a highly active and contributing member of the SCVPA. In addition to holding most positions within her club, she was voted Honored Artist in 2006. Not content with just local participation, she has been active with the CAPA organization, becoming president in 2005
Photography has been a life-long hobby, since her first Brownie. She has combined standard photo composition techniques into her painting. Capturing the work of others as well as her own on film has been a tradition since she started painting.
A world traveler, she loves to attend seminars all over the US and in Europe, including a trip to the Dresden factory in Germany. When not on the road or working for Lockheed in Sunnyvale, she gardens, paints, looks after family, volunteers with Girl Scouts. Somewhere in between her incredibly busy life, she even paints—her favorites include pansies and violets.
